On 15 July 2021, a Symposium “The EU policies on sport and the integrity rules: what lies ahead?” took place at the Cultural Centre, St. Gaetano in Padua (Italy). Four roundtable discussions were organised: 1) the fight against match-fixing; 2) the challenges represented by sport violence and discrimination; 3) the fight against doping; 4) the good governance of sports organisations.
Marianna’s contribution to the roundtable discussion on the good governance in sport, focused on the fundamental role of Corporate Social Responsibility in the sports sector. Furthermore, the protection and promotion of human rights in the life cycle of sporting events was debated.
